VASE OF FLOWERS IN WINDOW - 03-07-09

A brief break from our journey across the UK to come back closer to home. This photo of a vase of flowers behind frosted glass was taken on a photo walk around our county town, Lewes.

It's about time I mentioned Sunny 16. This is an innovative exhibition taking place on Saturday July 18th in The Grove, Tunbridge Wells. Fifteen photographers (myself included) will be displaying their work around trees in the park. A sixteenth tree will have a selection of photographs from The Friends of The Grove Young Persons Photographic Competition. The displayed images will be chosen from entries in the three age categories: under 10, 11-14 and 15-17. There will be a prize for the outright winner. Most of the photographers will have work for sale, with a share of the proceeds going to a local charity and to the Friends of The Grove to help with upkeep of the grounds. It should be an entetaining event.

Elsewhere, Photo District News have picked out The Five Biggest Photographers on the Internet.
