Welcome to the new version of eyematter - version 3 to be precise.

There aren't any huge changes. I've updated the look, and I'll be including commentary on the page with the photo rather than in the comments. Posting should be back to every other day. Most of the photos will be ones taken with the 5D, which I've had for quite a while now. I have a large archive of photos to show, but I want the site to be as contemporary as possible, so I'll be mixing both old and new material.

I had it in mind to start with a toilet photo just as I did with version 2, but unfortunately I haven't been able to take one that was up to scratch. And one can only do so much hanging around conveniences. So instead, you'll have to make do with this photo of Eastbourne Pier.
