A photo of the artist seen in yesterday's landscape shot. I also took some shots with the horizon across the top third line, but on balance thought this approach worked best.

In this recent incarnation of eyematter I haven't had much in the way of botantical subject matter. To redress the balance I'd like to present The Gardens of Tokyo. For some reason I particularly like this shot of Cherry Trees Near the Main Pond. Please note: These pictures are about form and texture rather than colour, so if you are expecting colourful blooms then you will be disappointed.
